1. About these terms
These terms apply to use of the public SecureWire website. The website is operated by SECUREWIRE LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15728154. Our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ.
By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it.
2. Customer agreements are separate
These terms govern the marketing website. A subscription to or use of the SecureWire software is governed by the customer agreement and any related data processing, service and security terms agreed with the customer. Those documents take priority for use of the software.
3. Website information
We aim to keep the website accurate and current. Website content is general information and may describe features that are being tested, developed, introduced in stages or made available only under particular plans or connections. Final scope, availability, implementation, service levels and price are confirmed in the relevant written customer agreement or proposal.
The website does not provide accounting, tax, legal, payroll or regulatory advice. References to HMRC, Making Tax Digital, VAT, Income Tax, payroll and RTI are general product information and do not replace official guidance or professional advice.
4. Enquiries, demonstrations and proposals
Submitting a form, requesting a demonstration or asking for a launch proposal does not create a contract. A contract arises only when the parties enter into a separate written agreement. Please do not include client documents, financial records or other sensitive information in a website enquiry.
5. Acceptable use
You may use the website lawfully to learn about SecureWire and evaluate it for your organisation. You must not:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its infrastructure or related systems;
- introduce malware, harmful code, automated attacks or material intended to disrupt the service;
- scrape, probe, test or scan the website in a way that is unlawful, excessive or interferes with its operation;
- misrepresent your identity or submit false, abusive or unlawful material; or
- use website content in a way that infringes intellectual property or other rights.
Authorised security testing must be agreed with SecureWire in writing before it begins.
6. Intellectual property
The SecureWire name, website design, text, product imagery, software demonstrations, graphics and other content are owned by or licensed to SECUREWIRE LTD and are protected by intellectual property law. You may view the website and print or save reasonable extracts for your organisation’s internal evaluation. You may not reproduce, republish, sell, license or commercially exploit the content without written permission, except where the law allows.
7. Links to other websites
The website may link to third-party websites or services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or handling of personal information. A link does not by itself mean that SecureWire endorses the third party.
8. Website availability and security
We may change, suspend or withdraw website content or access without notice where reasonably necessary. We do not promise that the website will always be available, uninterrupted or free from errors. You are responsible for using appropriate security controls on your own devices and networks.
9. Our responsibility
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow that exclusion or limitation, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Subject to that paragraph, and to the extent permitted by law, SECUREWIRE LTD is not responsible for loss arising solely from reliance on general website information, inability to access the website, or use of a third-party website linked from it. Any liability relating to the SecureWire software is governed by the applicable customer agreement.
10. Privacy and browser storage
Our Website Privacy Notice explains how we handle personal information collected through the website. Our Cookie and Browser Storage Notice explains browser storage, consent choices and optional analytics.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the website, our services or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top shows when the terms were last updated. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply from that point.
12. Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these terms, subject to any mandatory rights that apply under law.
